According to the resolution of 13-4 council meeting on February 26th, 2024, to promote the international affairs, there is a name change of Chinese Geoscience Union. The official name is changing to “Chinese Geoscience Union in Taiwan” and the official English abbreviation is “TCGU”. The LOGO will also be renewed as the following image. It had been reported in the annual meeting on June 8th, 2024.

依據2024年2月26日第十三屆第四次理監事聯席會議決議，為推展國際事務，本會之英文名稱更新為「Chinese Geoscience Union in Taiwan」，正式縮寫為「TCGU」，學會LOGO也一併更新。﹝如下圖﹞ 並於2024年6月8日年度會員大會中報告。
